The dough ingredients are as follows: 250 g of flour, 100 g of sugar, 2 eggs, 100 g of soft butter, 1 tbsp. of milk, and 1 tsp. of baking powder. The poppy seed filling consists of 25 g of poppy seeds, 1 tsp. of vanilla, and 1 tsp. of sugar.

Melt butter and mix it with sugar. Add eggs and milk, and stir well. Then add flour and baking powder. Mix the dough. Meanwhile, pour boiling water over poppy seeds and let them stand for a few minutes. Drain thoroughly, add sugar and vanilla sugar, and place in a blender to grind. Insert parchment moulds with pattern "Poppies" into the slots of the muffin tins. Fill up each mould with the dough to half, and put a spoon of poppy seed filling over the dough, and then a little more dough on top. Bake muffins in a preheated oven at 180°C for approximately 25 min.
